Director of PerformanceAdam Martin is a Strength and Conditioning Performance Coach at Pursuit with over 11 years experience. He is also a Performance Coach with the OHL's Guelph Storm and was a member of the 2018-19 Championship team. A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier's Kinesiology and Physical Education program, he brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and support to help you work towards your health, fitness and performance goals.
On top of his Kinesiology degree, Adam continues to learn about the ever changing landscape in the performance industry and will continue to build upon knowledge gained through the Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Precision Nutrition Level 1 (PN1) and various industry experts. A career highlight was attending Dallas Stars Development Camp in 2016, and working alongside the Performance Team to educate and introduce the organization's prospects to the demands associated with playing professional hockey.Over the past 11 years, Adam has developed valuable experience working with youth, collegiate and professional athletes, the general population, seniors and those recovering from chronic or acute injuries. He is dedicated to building a supportive and positive environment for those in and outside the community to train in.

Strength and Conditioning Performance Coach
Kristine is a dedicated personal trainer at Pursuit Athletic Centre with a BSc in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph. With a background in playing many sports and competing in flag football during university, Kristine combines her athletic experience with a strong academic foundation to design training programs that focus on mobility and improving her clients' quality of life through functional movement. Whether you're an experienced athlete or new to fitness, she creates an encouraging, supportive environment that makes reaching your goals both enjoyable and rewarding. Outside of the gym, Kristine enjoys staying active in the outdoors, spending time hiking, paddle boarding, skiing, and traveling
Dr. Kyle uses a number of chiropractic techniques including spinal manipulative therapy, myofascial release technique, and joint mobilization. He focuses on establishing balance and symmetry to the muscular system to improve strength and athletic performance. With previous experience as a personal trainer and sports medical therapist, he supplements his hands-on care with therapeutic exercise to restore the body’s optimal function.

Strength & Performance Coach
Matt Weber is one of the strength and conditioning performance coaches at
Pursuit. In 2023 he had finished his Bachelor's of Science in Sport Performance at Hartpury University in England. Prior to his studies abroad, he completed a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion at Conestoga College in 2022.Whilst overseas, Matt had worked with university level football teams as a positional and strength coach. Since being back in Canada, he has worked with a range of age groups focused on sport performance, functional fitness and rehabilitation. He is currently aspiring to further his education and knowledge base to better understand how to help people with their performance needs.

Strength & Conditioning Performance Coach
Jamie Chopping-Lawlor is a Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC) with a background in baseball. He played at Fanshawe College where he was an OCAA All-Star and Captain. During this time he obtained his degree in Fitness and Health Promotions. Jamie has been training at Pursuit since 2014 where he first met Adam and Marcus, 10 years later he is very excited to join the staff as a performance coach at the facility! He continues to pursue his dream of playing as high a level of baseball as possible and improving as a coach. Jamie enjoys watching hockey, football, and baseball, and he is a big Montreal Canadians, New England Patriots, and Toronto Blue Jays fan.

Strength & Conditioning Performance Coach
Dianne has been a part of the strength and conditioning staff at Pursuit since 2020. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph in 2021. For the duration of her time at U of G, she worked as a strength and conditioning intern at the Gryphon Performance Centre where she had the opportunity to work with the men's and women's basketball, hockey, rugby, soccer, and volleyball teams. Dianne is currently completing her fourth and final year at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto which consists of a 12-month clinical internship providing direct care and education to patients under the supervision of a licensed chiropractor. Upon graduation, Dianne hopes to integrate her strength and conditioning knowledge and clinical skills to provide evidence-informed treatment to patients with a focus on active care.
